Long before I built systems, I learned by watching. Poverty, survival, different trades, people and changing  circumstances taught me to pay attention to what others overlook. I did not have the luxury of treating observation  as theory. What I noticed had consequences.

Grooming gave that attention a professional discipline. Every client required judgement: not simply what could be done, but what suited the person, what carried risk, what should be refused and what would still make sense later.

Dubai gave that judgement an operating environment. I built SKILLS and spent years turning what lived in my own head into standards, responsibilities, controls, training and systems that could hold beyond my constant presence. The objective was never to make myself indispensable. It was to build something strong enough not to depend on one person.

SKILLS has been independently inspected and recognised by Dubai Municipality. The operating discipline behind that result is the same discipline I now apply to grooming businesses, selected wider organisations and the future expansion of SKILLS itself.

The Untaught Eye is the story behind that way of thinking: how relentless attention became an education, how observation became judgement, and how judgement became a life built through standards, responsibility and systems rather than circumstance.

Most people look at hair. I study the person carrying it. The same principle applies to a business. Before I change a system, I study how it actually runs, who holds it together, what people overlook and what breaks when pressure arrives.
