The Method

The Method is the structure I built to decide whether the work should happen at all. It governs how a face is read, how a condition is observed, how a request is questioned, and how a judgement is reached before a single decision is executed.

This framework exists because men rarely arrive asking the right question. They ask for a haircut, a beard, a treatment, or a correction. The real work is understanding whether the request aligns with the face, the condition, the lifestyle, the maintenance required, and the long-term consequence that follows.

Across grooming, scalp health, facial treatments, pigmentation, chemical services, and aesthetic procedures, execution is the smallest part of the work. Observation comes first. Judgement comes second. Only then does the procedure begin.

Without it, there is service.

With it, there is standard.

01 Haircut

Identity before instruction.

A haircut is the first correction nobody knows how to explain. One line can harden the face. Another can soften it. One shape can expose weakness. Another can return authority. The scissors do not create the man. They reveal the version of him the wrong shape had been hiding.

02 Beard

Proportion before pattern.

A beard is calculated before it is shaped. Face, voice, personality, role, all of it measured before a single line is drawn.

03 Hair Coloring

Suitability before shade.

The shade he wants is almost never the shade his face can carry. I do not deliver the request. I find the colour that belongs to him.

04 Beard Coloring

Believability before coverage.

The eye decides in a second whether a beard is real or applied. Coverage is easy. The second is the entire job.

05 Hair Toning

Correction before colour.

Most men who think they need new colour need correction. Toning is the quiet hand that decides whether everything above it succeeds or quietly fails.

06 Hair Bleaching

Integrity before lift.

Bleach is not a colour service. It is a controlled chemical event with a permanent verdict. The hair decides whether it can take it, never the client.

07 Hair Treatments

Diagnosis before product.

Keratin, protein, filler, botox. The client asks for the name he has heard. I refuse to answer until I know what the hair is actually missing.

08 Chemical Treatments

Judgement before procedure.

Relaxing and perming alter the bonds inside the hair and rebuild its shape. The procedure is the smaller decision. The real work is deciding whether it should happen at all, and protecting everyone in the room while it does.

09 Hair Braiding & Dreadlocks

Tension before style.

Braiding looks like styling. It is structural. Done wrong, it removes hair no future treatment will return. Style is what the client sees. The hairline is what I protect.

10 Scalp Treatments

Observation before intervention.

Most scalp services begin with a product. Mine begin with looking. The scalp tells me what it needs long before the client can name it.

11 Trichology

Study before treatment.

I chose to work in trichology because of how many people I watched harm themselves trying to fix what they did not understand. Looking comes before acting. Always.

12 Facial Treatments

Skin before product.

Three years of study built this room. The name of the facial is not the answer. The state of the skin is. The face a man leaves with is his own, restored, never redecorated.

13 Nail Services

Purpose before appearance.

Manicure and pedicure were never added as extra services. They were added because the hands and feet are among the most neglected parts of a man’s body, and the neglect is often defended as masculinity.

14 Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Restraint before density.

SMP is the most permanent decision a man makes about his head, and the one most often made in a hurry. Done well, it is invisible. Done in a hurry, it announces itself for years.

15 Semi-Permanent Make-Up (SPMU)

Proportion before pigment.

SPMU is not beauty. It is a cosmetic decision the face wears for years. The conversation before the pigment matters more than the pigment itself.
