Hair Bleaching
Integrity before lift.
Bleach is not a colour service. It is a controlled chemical event with a permanent verdict. The hair
decides whether it can take it, never the client.
The Method
Bleach is not a colour service. It is a controlled chemical event with a permanent verdict.
Before any lift is started, the hair is read. For strength, for porosity, for what has already been done to it, and for what it is likely to do under stress. A strand that looks healthy in the chair can collapse under bleach if its prior history is wrong. I would rather refuse the service than damage the hair to satisfy the request.
The active ingredients I work with are not the ones the industry hands out by default. I studied the chemical lines available, watched what they did to hair, to scalps, to the hands of the people applying them, and built a protected workflow with products I trust. Before, during, and after the lift, supporting active ingredients are layered in to support the hair and the scalp. Ventilation, workflow, timing, and atmospheric control protect the room and the team. The wellbeing of everyone present is non-negotiable.
Bleaching done correctly is staged, monitored, and stopped at the right moment. Bleaching done in a hurry is how hair is lost. The skill is not in achieving the lightest possible shade. The skill is in knowing the exact moment to stop.
